The Institute of Cultural Affairs (ICA), in collaboration with ICA Bangladesh, conducted a virtual training program on Technology of Participation (ToP) linking with Theory of Change (ToC) from April 22 to 26, 2024, funded by the Centre for International Private Enterprises (CIPE). This program aimed to empower individuals and groups from the Centre for Governance and Public Accountability (CGPA) and the Sustainable Development Policy Institute (SDPI) of Pakistan with skills for effective collaboration, communication, and decision-making. The training emphasized ToP methods, including Group Facilitation and Participatory Strategic Planning, for developing organizational or project-level Theory of Change.
Utilizing interactive methods such as Zoom breakout rooms, Miro boards, and Google documents, the training covered essential topics in organizational development and strategic planning. Participants learned practical skills in facilitation and consensus-building through methodologies like Focused Conversation, Consensus Building Workshops, and Action Planning.
